To fuel their growth, private companies often rely on capital from investment firms - and there has never been larger demand in any point of history. The private markets have reached $13 trillion in 2025 and are projected to triple over the next five years. This is the fastest-growing segment of the world of finance, and we're at the inflection point.
While the industry is exploding, the underlying infrastructure is stuck in the past. Everything that makes public markets efficient, simply doesn't exist for private markets. There's no standardization, no interconnectedness, no efficient record-keeping. The same data gets manually retyped between isolated systems and spreadsheets over and over again. Every export, import, and human touch creates friction, delays, and errors.
At Nomerra we want to let capital flow faster, reach further, and create more value. We’re doing this by building the agentic automation platform that does all capital-related work at machine speed with zero errors, 24/7.
We, ****Johannes and Jakob, met as first employees at bunch, a Berlin-based Private Markets Tech company where we helped scale the team to over 100 employees, raise €20M+ in venture capital, and expand across Europe. Johannes was responsible for driving firm-wide growth and expansion, while Jakob built the in-house fund admin system for the operations team. With a combined 10 years in private markets across front and back office, we founded Nomerra to build the missing piece in private markets infrastructure.
We’re looking for people who take ownership, move with purpose, and thrive in ambiguity. We radically prioritize high-impact work, to fundamentally change an industry stuck in the last century. Close collaboration is central to how we operate, and the magic of working together from our Berlin office is an integral part of that. Experience or strong interest in private markets, financial services or similarly complex industries is a clear advantage. We’re building what has not been built yet. The opportunity is massive, and the timing is now.
